In 2012, Marcus Eckert wrote Wide Sky to explore various facets of programming, code-based motion and UI design. To do this he developed an early version of Meek, a native iOS engine designed to craft complex, low memory animations at run time.

Complex animations calculated at run time allow for a low memory footprint.
